Floorings


Ebaco has been involved in the floorings business since inception. Initially handling British producers such as Lancaster Carpets, Thomas Witter, Associated Weavers and others, Ebaco was the first one to introduce U.S. products into the Middle East and has been handling more than 50 % of the total wall to wall carpet sales ex U.S.A. to the Middle East for

20 years, representing producers such as E.T.Barwick Mills, Image Industries, Horizon Industries, Marglen Industries, Conquest Carpet Mills, Queen Carpets and others. Early 90ies when the market switched to patterned products, Ebaco promoted European qualities, representing Berrytuft, Lano, Beaulieu Wielsbeke, Idealtuft, Timzo and others. When imports dropped due to local production in the Middle East, Ebaco introduced Vinyl floorings, representing today 5 of the 8 European producers of cushion vinyl and handling sales of PVC flooring from Thailand, South Korea, China and Malaysia. In 1998 Ebaco added laminate, parquet and solid wood flooring from Europe.


Over the years our understanding of floorings has moved to an expert level with focus on more and more sophisticated products. Ebaco primarily buys the products from Europe and the Far East and exports to the Middle East, Russia, Europe and South Africa.

Design and development:

Ebaco works with suppliers in developing new qualities and in conceiving new designs which are marketable in volume.

Sourcing and factory evaluation:

We inspect every factory we work with to evaluate machinery installed, production volume and design capability.

Lead time management services:

Ebaco will check the production at several stages of the production process and will evaluate the factory accurately to make sure the factory will meet the lead time required.

Price negotiations:

We negotiate very special pricing because of our knowledge of production costs as well as our sales volume per quality.

Quality control:

Ebaco can undertake for its customers any type of testing that is necessary.

Customer service:

Our sales and sourcing personnel are always ready to address any queries from the customer, promptly and satisfactorily.

Financing:

We can provide our customers with LC financing facilities.
